ABSTRACT
The article reports on topics which were discussed at 2007 and 2008 workshops of the Asia Pacific Emergency and Disaster Nursing Network (APEDNN). Topics at the 2007 workshop included disaster management and capacity building for nurses and midwives and topics at the 2008 workshop included collaborative research and research capacity building for the APEDNN. The objectives of the APEDNN are discussed.
