ABSTRACT
Information on the second conference of the "Romanian Association for Baltic and Nordic Studies (ARSBN)" held from May 20-22, 2011 in Targoviste, Romania is presented. Topics include the foreign relation between Romania and Lithuania and its research situation, as well as the history of the Black Sea and the Baltic region in the 20th century. Other topics mentioned int his article include the Swedish modern history and foreign relations with Romania during the first world war, commerce policy in the Baltic States, and the Russian expansion politics during the early modern ages.
