ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of an organic conference held at Fresno State University in California in 2012. The event's participants received pointers on getting and staying certified for organic production and information on research at the campus. They were also informed of the plans for the University of California (UC) to certify its first organic acreage at one of its field stations. A talk was also conducted on food safety by Richard Molinar, a farm advisor at UC.
