ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the annual conference of Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) held on October 23-26, 2011. The members of MGMA welcomed Doctor Susan Turney as the new president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Wisconsin Medical Society. They also discussed various issues involving MGMA such as the new rules on the Medicare accountable care program, the scramble for meaningful-use money, and the threats of cuts to the Medicare payment rate.
