ABSTRACT
Information about several papers discussed at the 10th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and inaugural Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) held March 20-24, 2011 on the growing technology in the United Arab of Emirates (UAE) is presented. Topics include UAE's defence capabilities such as indoor and outdoor exhibition space and coastal security systems. The conference featured several exhibitors including Quantum Marine, Solas Marine Services, and Finmeccanica SpA.
