ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of "Retail's BIG Show" held in New York in January 2011 sponsored by the National Retail Federation. Presentations include "The Future is BIG, the Future is NOW," featuring the leadership styles of retail leaders such as online shopping club Rue La La chief executive officer (CEO) Ben Fischman, Bernie Brennan of Brennan Group and Gordon Segal of Crate and Barrel. Other conference sessions included topics on development of new technology in augmented reality known as LuminAR by Professor Pattie Maes.
