ABSTRACT
Information on the topics discussed at an international symposium held in Oradea, Romania on June 10-13, 2010 is presented. The event attempts to examine the impacts of imperial policies to Romanian territory involving not only the harmful effects, but also the imperial rules established by the Viennese Court. The symposium also featured some attendees and lecturers which include professors Barbu Ştefănescu, Ion Erima, and Ovidiu Mureşan.
