ABSTRACT
This study investigates how individual and organizational contexts affect strategic decision makers' interpretation and adoption of potential organizational innovations. Results indicate positive significant relationships between functional interpretations and risk propensity, self-efficacy, past experience, organizational strategy and resource availability.
