ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of Metalcon's 2009 convention held in Tampa, Florida. Attendance was reportedly lower than usual, which is 5,600 compared to the 8,000 expected. The primary reason cited was the global financial crisis, which has affected attendance at other industry conferences. Exhibitors at the convention showcased new technologies and innovations, including forming equipment, coatings and roofing products.
