ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the NFB Youth Slam organized by the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Jernigan Institute at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland from July 26, 2009 to August 1, 2009. There were eleven science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) content tracks organized that students attended each day. It informs that students in the engineering track learned about various sources of alternative energy and how to harness them.
