ABSTRACT
Information about the 7th Asia Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand from August 7-9, 2009 is presented. The conference was attended by over 1,000 participants. minister of Education Jurin Lakasanavisit recounts his interesting experiences as an English language learner. Leo Van Lier explores the pedagogical principles in an ecological approach to language education.
