ABSTRACT
Information about the Green Power Conference held in Ghana from October 26-29, 2009 is presented. It hosted the Bioenergy Markets West Africa Symposium in identifying the financial risks and financial opportunity for African bioenergy production. The conference was centered to the possible benefits of jatropha plant, a bioenergy crops that is available in Africa since the 16th century.
