Information about several topics discussed at HVACR Week, which was sponsored by HPAC Engineering, in Nashville, Tennessee from September 23-26, 2009 is presented. Topics included the significance of conceptual design modeling and analysis tools in designing sustainable buildings, the implication of leadership and responsibility, and the safety and applicability of evaporative cooling. The conference featured several engineers, including James D. Qualk, Ben Erpelding and Robert E. Middlebrooks.
