ABSTRACT
The article offers updates on British Veterinary Association (BVA) Congresses. The 2008 BVA Congress held in London, England discussed topics on managing disease outbreaks and training of veterinary surgeons. It also offers information on the 2009 BVA Congress in Cardiff, Wales on September 24-26, 2009, which covers issues on pedigree dog breeding and consideration of animal health and welfare policy. Information on awards given in the 2008 BVA Congress like Chiron Award is also noted.
