ABSTRACT
Information about the American Medical Association's annual meeting which was held in Chicago, Illinois is presented. Highlights include the discussion on opposition in limiting on jury awards in medical malpractice lawsuits as well as the speech of the U.S. President Barack Obama on medical care. It also tackled the endorsement of police use of tasers rather than deadly force to constrain criminals.
