The article offers information on the 2009 Association of Cruise Experts' UK Cruise Convention held in Dover, England in June 2009. The convention focused on several issues related to the cruise industry which include the issue of discounts being offered by cruiselines and impact of recession on the tourism industry. Several notable people attended the convention including president of Celebrity Cruises Inc. Dan Hanrahan, and general manager UK of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Jo Rzymowska
