ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the International Hospitality Week conference held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and attended by 100 people from the hospitality industry. The topic involved plans to rethink and reinvent Las Vegas in the face of cancelled business and tourist visits or return trips which has led to mass layoffs in the gaming, entertainment and hotel industries in Las Vegas, Nevada. Featured speakers included John Unwin, senior vice president for hotel operations at Caesar's Palace.
