Information is presented on several subjects which were discussed at a symposium that was held at a joint meeting of the American Orthopaedic Association and the Canadian Orthopaedic Association on June 5, 2008. The symposium focused on the education of orthopedists and was attended by many leaders in the orthopedic community from Canada and the U.S.
