ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a meeting by the Medicines Group of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) held in January 2009. It centralizes on the request from the Veterinary Policy Group (VPG) of BVA guidance on the careful use of antimicrobials and the anthelmintic resistance problems specifically for farm animals. Moreover, other topics discussed include the 28-day rule of National Office of Animal Health, high-priced waste from idle medicines, and extension of expired vaccine.
