ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show held in Hannover, Germany in Octobe 2008. The event was attended by 2,084 exhibitors, an increase of 30% from the previous show in 2006. VDA, the German automotive industry association, sponsored the show. Kögel Fahreugwerke GmbH unveiled a thin-deck trailer that features a strategic use of carbon fiber. Sommer Road Cargo Solutions also launched dump trailers as a new product for the Western European market.
