ABSTRACT
The article provides information that was discussed at a symposium on the legal aspects of dentistry. Methods of communicating with new dental patients in order to reduce mistakes are discussed. Methods that dentists can use to reduce and eliminate malpractice charges are also discussed, as well as the ease by which dental patients can ruin the reputation of their dentists.
