ABSTRACT
Information about several topics discussed at the Caribbean Allergy & Respiratory Association (CARA) Conference in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago in 2000 is presented. Topics include the establishment of innovative ideas in preventing the widespread of asthma and other respiratory allergies and the collaboration among health care professionals, parents and schools in protecting the children. The conference features various people including Doctors Albert Persaud and Neils Mygind.
