ABSTRACT
Information is presented on the meeting of the American Heart Association Scientific Session held in New Orleans, Louisiana, during November 8-13, 2008. This was a educational and research meeting in the cardiovascular field. At the meeting, there were more than 4,000 clinical, basic, and population science abstract presentations. At the event, Romania presented research works on the echocardiographic diagnosis of aortic and mitral valve disease.
