ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting that was held in Atlanta, Georgia from November 8 to 11, 2008. Ophthalmologist Thasarat S. Vajaranant discussed results of a retrospective review of visual acuity and intraocular pressure (IOP) in 315 control eyes and 85 glaucoma eyes after Descemet's stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK). The presentation won the Best Paper award during the glaucoma original papers session.
