ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the Polyurethanes 2008 Technical Conference held in San Antonio, Texas. It is reported that several sessions of the conference focused on green developments in the furniture and bedding categories with highlights on advances in "green foams" and viscoelastic foams. Jerry MacCleary of Bayer MaterialScience said in his state of the industry address that the polyurethanes industry has the technology to lead the drive toward increased use of renewable resources.
