ABSTRACT
Information about several papers discussed at a symposium sponsored by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) on the elements to consider as one transitions into a junior faculty position is presented. It discusses the factors needed in the visit of clinician-scientist in different institutions to search for a faculty position. It also offers ways on how to become a competitive researcher and a good clinician at the same time.
