Information about several issues related to employment of disabled people discussed at the "Transforming the American Workplace: A 21st Century Vision" summit sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington D.C. on June 3-4, 2008 is presented. Topics include promotion of a culture of inclusiveness, life-history sharing and encouragement of progress for employees with disabilities. The summit featured several speakers including Elaine L. Chao, Neil Romano and Dawn Halfaker.
