ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the National Convention & Buying Fair held by Brand Source, a consumer electronics (CE), major appliance (majap) and home furnishings buying group, in Las Vegas, Nevada in August 2008. A 1.5% increase in retail sales was reported for white goods for Brand Source. The group has launched a redesigned electronic-commerce (e-commerce) site to allow its members become the dominant retailers in the home-furnishings category in North America.
