Information about several papers discussed in an event sponsored by the Allen Institute for Brain Science and Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) on the Allen Spinal Cord Atlas, the world's first genome-wide map of the mouse spinal cord, is presented. Topics include the Institute's funding model, the impact of the project, and the data it provides for researchers online. The event featured PVA executive director Maurice Jordan and Allen Institute chief operating officer, Elaine Jones.
