ABSTRACT
Information is presented about the workshop Idea, Image, Transfer presented by Joan Schulze at the Surface Design Conference in Portland, Oregon in 1985. According to the article, workshop participants learned various ways of transferring images onto cloth using the photocopier as a tool and the instructor used information, art, poetry, philosophy, and music as part of her teaching approach.
