Information about the importance of selling accessories discussed at the annual bedding conference of the journal "Furniture/Today" in Naples, Florida is presented. Topics include the failure of retailers to grab the opportunity in selling accessories such as mattress protectors and pillows. Retailers are urged to carry a wide selection of accessories and differentiate themselves from big-box retailers that are often viewed as the largest competitors for the products.
