The article presents information on the Laying the Foundation for Financial Success workshop. Obtaining financial freedom was the focus of the forum, which was presented by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Inc., in partnership with Citi. Darcella Sessomes, an instructor for the Talent Search program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), said that the free forum should be offered either to freshmen at African American colleges and universities or seniors in high school.
