ABSTRACT
Information about several topics discussed at the Singapore International Furniture Show is presented. Several government and industry officials expect that Singapore's share of the world market will increase from the 2006 share of 0.7% to 0.2%, from $2.4 billion to $11 billion. According to Dr. Lee Boon Yang, minister for information, communications and the arts, the outlook for the country's furniture industry is clearly optimistic and buoyant.
