Information about the highlights at the Third International Shibori Symposium in Santiago, Chile on November 2-6, 1999 is presented. It features the amarras, Andean textiles which are among of the oldest and most mysterious textiles. The conference focused on the runway fashion show of shibori clothes held in the spacious atrium of the museum. It also presents topics including completeness, combination, creativity and irregularities and shamanism presented by the curator Rebecca Stone-Miller.
