Information on the highlights of a meeting organized by ASTM International and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in February 2008 is presented. The event, which was attended by representatives from the Convention Industry Council and the Green Meeting Industry Council, saw the launching of the ASTM International Activity on Green Meetings & Events. Also noted is the reason for holding the meeting with ASTM.
