ABSTRACT
Information on the roundtable discussion initiated by the National Defense University Institute for National Strategic Studies in the U.S. is presented. It discusses the implications, the underlying motivations of the direct-ascent anti-satellite (ASAT) weapon test launched by China as well as the policy perspectives of policymakers. The forum features Chinese scholars, space experts and American policymakers.
