ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of "America's Freight Transportation Through 2011," the annual Freight Transportation Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana held by FTR Associates. They discussed the current economic environment that is affecting freight movement as well as issues concerning the truck, rail, water, air and intermodal transport industry. The conference was attended by economists including James Meil, Bill Witte and James Miller.
