ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of 4th annual Engineering Green Buildings Conference and Exo held September 17 and 18, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Attendance of the event increased 30 percent. Paul Von Paumgartten from Johnson Controls and "HPAC Engineering" editorial advisory board member Thomas Hartman were the keynote speakers. Paumgartten discussed the opportunities and challenges of sustainability of existing buildings in the country.
