ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the webinar "Green Meetings: Call to Action," held in July 2007. The event was moderated by "FIM" editor, Regina Baraban. The event also involved the participation of Michelle White, director for environmental affairs, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Harry Lewis, attorney advisor for the EPA and Tiffany Schermerhorn, among others. White noted that during the last 18 months, meeting planners have been asking hotels for information on their green policies as part of their request for proposal process.
