ABSTRACT
Information on several papers discussed at the 29th annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium linking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and breast cancer is presented. Researchers from United States showed that the incidence of breast cancer had declined as many women had stopped using the HRT. The Canadian researchers showed that of the three commonly used chemotherapies, CEF (cyclophosphamide, epirubicin and fluorouracil) proved to be effective in preventing a breast cancer relapse.
