ABSTRACT
Information about several issues related to the consolidation among steel mills, discussed at the Metals Service Center Institute's Aluminum Division conference is presented. The conference took place in November 2006 in Orlando, Florida. Jay Gratz, Executive Vice President and CFO Jay Gratz of Ryerson Inc. and also one of the panelists at the conference, stated that consolidation of the mills is not the factor driving consolidation of the service center sector.
