ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of tire maintenance as an integral support in supply chain operations in logistic industry. The topic was presented during the National Tank Truck Carrier Safety Seminar last April 4-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada by Guy Walenga, from Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC. He cited that tire maintenance includes pressure maintenance, proper mounting and selection, and tire dealer relationships.
