The article presents information on some conferences that are to be held at various places in Great Britain on issues related to people with learning disabilities. Conferences titled 'Positive Approaches to Self Injurious Behavior' and 'A Voice of their Own' will be held by the British Institute for Learning Disabilities on February 3, 2006 and March 3, 2006, respectively. The former conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Warwick and the latter will take place at the Centennial Centre, Birmingham. The Royal Society of Medicine's Intellectual Disability Forum has also organized a conference that will be held on February 9, 2006 at the Royal Society of Medicine, Wimpole Street, London.
