This article presents information on symposiums and conferences pertaining to children with learning disabilities. Institucion Mexicana De Asistencia a la Niñez, is organizing the first International Symposium on Human Communication to be held from June 27- 29, 1974 at Mexico City, Mexico. The main topic is the detection of speech and hearing problems. School District 68 in Skokie, Illinois, in cooperation with National College of Education, in Evanston, Illinois is sponsoring its second annual workshop entitled, The Preschool Child: Screening and Remediation. The workshop is to be offered on June 17, 1974 and June 18, 1974 and may be taken for one hour of graduate credit (fee $73) or for no credit (fee $41). Coming to Grips with Early Childhood Education is the topic of the California Elementary Education Association's major educational conference in the spring of 1974. The first to be devoted exclusively to implementation, the conference will be presented aboard the S.S. Queen Mary in Long Beach, California on May 3, 1974 and again on May 24, 1974 at the Towne House Hotel in San Francisco, California.
