OFA deals with vital environmental issues

The article informs that Kingston, Ontario, was the site of the Ontario Fabricare Association's Annual Conference, which was held during October 21-22, 2005. The information-packed program dealt with aspects of environmental cleanup. The first speaker was Ed Strecker of Stoney Creek, Ontario, who is involved in a cleanup. He spoke on the reasons for site assessments. He was followed by Peter Pickfield, an environmental lawyer, who discussed the problem of seepage. At the Annual General Meeting, George Loney of Solvent Free Solutions was installed as the new president of the association.
