The article states that the Alabama Cotton Field Day is scheduled for August 4, 2005 at the Tennessee Valley Research and Extension Center (TVREC) in Belle Mina, Alabama. Southeast Farm Press is a sponsor of the field day, along with the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and the John Deere Company. The program begins on August 4, 2005 with registration at 7:30 a.m. A welcome will follow from Chet Norris, superintendent of the TVREC. Tours will depart under the direction of David Harkins, agricultural program associate at the TVREC, and Brad Durham, agricultural program assistant at the TVREC.
