The article offers information on the Southwest Military Wheelchair Basketball Conference (SMWBC), hosted by Project INVEST (Injured Veterans Engaging Sport Together), held in Denton, Texas from October 25-29, 2017. Topics discussed include goal of the competition which is to strengthen community relations and bring awareness of sport for military veterans; several sport clinics such as sitting volleyball, wheelchair soccer, and wheelchair tennis; and formats of the conference.
