ABSTRACT
The article reports on a seminar at the 1998 New York Cash Exchange conference. TIAA-CREF vice president David Grunbaum focused on the year 2000 (Y2K) certification testing. Grunbaum advises companies to pay special attention to interface compatibility, the distinction between "shrink-wrapped" software and internally developed software, and the location of a Y2K-compliant software testing lab.
