CNL Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of Florida-based real estate investment trust CNL Financial, which has ownership interests in such hotels as Marriott and Hyatt, bought five hotel properties far 109 million dollars in cash from Pyramid Hotel Opportunity Venture, a venture between a Boston-based private hotel company and an investment firm.
