ABSTRACT
Discusses the reduction of carbon dioxide at lead (Pb) and tin (Sn) granules in an undivided fixed-bed reactor. Goal of extending the electrode surface as much as possible within a relatively small electrochemical cell volume to reduce carbon dioxide selectively with high faradaic efficiencies to organic compounds; Electrolysis carried out on Pb and Sn.
